Ludovico is a 500R- Rinnovata (Meaning ""renewed' or ""updated'). Ludovico was built in Milan, Italy in 1973 (47 years old). The Rinnovata, as you see here, was produced between 1972-1975. It was built with a 594cc engine designed by Abarth giving 23bhp and a 4 speed full synchromesh gearbox. The 500R is distinguished by having a horizontal Fiat badge on the front, a round speedometer in black, galvanised steel wheels without hubcaps and rectangular tail lights.
We welcomed Ludovico to the Ashley James Automotive team on the 25th June 2020. The above photos show the condition of the 500R as it arrived on site. As you can see, he needs a little TLC and we can't wait to spruce the Rinnovata up to our high standards.
